The Opportunity:Operates power equipment (e.g., forklifts or ride-on walkies) to store, remove or deliver required materials to production teams. Monitors and maintains high volume materials in staging areas on a daily basis to ensure production requirements are met. Completes inventory control, updates inventory system or orders materials from the national system as required. Ensures site procedures and custody requirements are followed as applicable. Shift: Friday - Sunday 7:00 am-3:00 pm About The Role: Operate power equipment to store inbound materials into designated rack locations, pick requested materials or daily stock materials and deliver to designated areas on a daily basis.Conduct a daily visual validation (quality check) and inventory count to ensure inventory levels are accurate and located in designated aisle based on inventory system report.Gather all Canada Post finished goods from all production departments, create Canada Post manifests, deliver to designated area for Volume Capture System (VCS) team, and load labeled monos onto Canada Post truck/trailer based on prescribed pick-up times to meet Service Level Agreement (SLA).Conduct daily visual power equipment inspection in accordance with pre-shift inspection form/procedures to ensure safety and functionality of the equipment. Identify any maintenance issues or repairs that may be required and escalate.Update inventory system with new material count based on work instructions, ensuring accuracy and within required timeframes. What You Need to Succeed: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: 1 to 3 years related experience. Skill requirements Valid power equipment license; knowledge of safety driving rules.Previous experience operating a forklift is requiredKnowledge of Health and Safety guidelines.
