The Opportunity:


Receives, handles, sorts, scans, logs, prepares, validates, and distributes a variety of incoming and outgoing documents and packages, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to Symcor procedures, quality standards, and deadlines. Performs standard quality checks, identifies issues, and ensures items are correctly organized for downstream processing or dispatch.

Schedule: Sunday to Thursday from 12:00 AM – 5 AM, 25hrs a week

About The Role:

  • Receive, sort, and log incoming documents, mail, and packages using appropriate equipment and procedures to ensure accurate tracking and workflow organization.
  • Validate, list, or verify items against provided lists, manifests, or instructions and prepare items for processing by appropriate departments.
  • Scan, key, and prepare documents or files using required systems to support digital capture, indexing, or routing to internal groups.
  • Identify and properly handle misdirected items, cash, or risksensitive materials, escalating where required per Standard Work Procedures.
  • Prepare outgoing document packages for dispatch to internal teams, financial institutions, or commercial clients, ensuring accuracy and meeting SLA timelines.
  • Follow defined department control measures to meet or exceed productivity and quality goals.
  • Identify, address, and resolve minor issues; escalate major issues to PLO, AM, or Manager as required.
  • Perform prescribed quality control checks on all prepared work and ensure items are complete, legible, and packaged correctly.
  • Assist with workflow distribution within the team to support daily operational needs.
  • Maintain accuracy when keying document IDs, item details, or tracking information into systems.
  • Document issues or exceptions and communicate findings to leadership to support operational visibility.
  • Interactions are primarily internal and involve coordinating with peers and other divisions to ensure smooth document flow.

What You Need to Succeed:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 1 to 3 years related experience.

Skill requirements

  • Basic to Intermediate Computer Skills.
  • MS Office as required.
  • Communication skills – Responding to emails and phone as required.
  • French language skills are required.
