The Opportunity:

As the expert for assigned Symcor products and services, the Product Manager owns the development, planning, and execution of product strategies and roadmap to drive the achievement of business objectives and key results.

This is a hybrid role with flexible onsite expectations, typically 1 to 2 days per week. New employees are expected to be onsite 2 to 3 times a week during their first three months to support onboarding and collaboration.

About The Role:

  • Lead the development of product vision, strategies and roadmaps designed to achieve business objectives and market success in alignment with the overall strategy & objectives set for Symcor and the assigned product/service portfolio.
  • Lead the product innovation roadmap planning and execution process.
  • As the Symcor internal product expert for assigned products, collaborate with internal teams to define product requirements, refine the value proposition, determine product pricing, review production costs, manage customizations of products and special costing, and provide support for client escalations.
  • Taking into consideration market research and analysis of successful and lost opportunities, improve the functionality of existing products to effectively contribute to the attainment of the product(s) objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze product profitability performance and trends and direct other internal departments to take appropriate actions to ensure product financial objectives are met.
  • Cross-functional collaboration is essential in this role, as you will be working closely with various internal teams (development, operations, marketing, sales, finance) to ensure the success of the product portfolio.
  • This role requires the ability to solve complex problems related to product performance, client needs, and market dynamics, ensuring the product is aligned with overall business goals.

What You Need to Succeed:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending conferences and educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience building or significantly scaling digital products and solutions in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (preferred), or in government or another regulated industry.
  • Experience using Agile Product Management and discovery practices (e.g., Design Thinking, Market Research, User Research, Business Model Canvas, Value Proposition Canvas, Lean Business Case) to develop products and to support decisions and prioritization.
  • Experience building or significantly enhancing B2B or B2B2C document solutions (Intelligent Document Processing / Document Management / Digital Mailroom / Mail Distribution Services), Workflow Automation, case management, or operational automation.
  • Experience leveraging Cloud and AI technologies within products and solutions.
  • Market Knowledge – a strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitor products. Insight into the competitive landscape and how Symcor’s products & services compare.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry and professional associations, key industry events, consultants and industry trends.

Skill requirements:

  • Strong communication and influence: ability to clearly articulate product vision and tradeoffs, align diverse stakeholders (development, operations, sales, marketing, compliance, customers), and drive decisions without formal authority.
  • Comfortable leading crossfunctional teams through ambiguity and adapting priorities based on feedback, data, and changing business dynamics.
  • Customer empathy and discovery mindset: ability to deeply understand customer problems in complex, regulated environments and translate insights into clear, prioritized product outcomes.
  • Presentations will be extremely important in this role, requiring strong skills in presenting ideas, strategies and business cases to diverse stakeholders of all levels.
