The Opportunity:

Architect Enterprise Applications Through Vendor Assessments and Design

As a Technical Solutions Architect reporting to Director of Architecture, you’ll be responsible for designing enterprise-grade solutions, conducting vendor technical assessments, and delivering architecture that supports scalable, maintainable corporate applications. This is a hands-on architecture role with real-world impact and high cross-functional visibility.

This is a hybrid role with requirements to be on site 3 days a week, providing a balance between remote flexibility and in-person collaboration. #LI-Hybrid

About The Role:

• Deliver sound technical designs for vendor-delivered and internal application solutions
• Assess vendor technologies through intake, due diligence, and platform alignment processes
• Work closely with stakeholders to refine functional and non-functional requirements
• Document technical architecture that meets internal standards and governance expectations
• Support implementation by working with delivery and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment with architecture
• Contribute to platform and application governance from a technical perspective

What You Need to Succeed:

Education:

• A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience spanning vendor management, consulting, solution delivery, and technical architecture
• Exposure to financial services or enterprise-scale application ecosystems is a plus

Core Technical Skills:

Must-Have

• Expertise in automation of IT services and production systems
• Strong understanding of infrastructure design (network, servers, storage, desktop)
• Experience in application platform design
• Understanding of risk management and process improvement
• Knowledge of systems and software architecture: high availability, scalable, and secure

Should-Have

• Familiarity with TOGAF, Zachman, Archimate, or UML frameworks

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA
• Understanding of PCI/SOC1/SOC2 standards
• Familiarity with data analytics, machine learning, or AI technologies
