The Opportunity:
This Director role within Symcor’s COR.PRO line of business leads and oversees the product vision and strategy for the Line of Business (LoB). As Director, COR.PRO, they will lead and align teams around a clear product vision, prioritize impactful initiatives, and scale product-led growth strategies. This role will oversee all aspects of the product life cycle and making resource allocation decisions to drive long-term growth and achieve near-term objectives for Symcor. The Director COR.PRO will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure growth strategies align with broader company goals while creating value for clients through innovative products and services.
This is a hybrid role with flexible onsite expectations, typically 1 to 2 days per week. New employees are expected to be onsite 2 to 3 times a week during their first three months to support onboarding and collaboration.
About The Role:
- Establish the strategy (with the VP, VP Product COR.TRANSFORM) and lead all actions and processes required to ensure the continuing profitability of all assigned products. Lead the definition of the product vision and objectives, based on strong industry and customer needs.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept and development to launch, post-launch optimization and scale. Partner with stakeholders to lead the team in delivering on prioritized set of products and feature adjustments, ensuring features resonate and provide measurable value.
- Support the market growth strategy by working alongside sales, marketing, and customer success teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and adoption plans.
- Establish accountability through clear governance structure and performance tracking. Define success metrics and monitor performance of product initiatives to ensure alignment with customer needs and business goals.

What You Need to Succeed:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees such as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a Master’s in a relevant technical field would be considered an asset.
- Ongoing education in the form of professional certifications in product management, agile methodologies, or financial services would be beneficial.
Experience:
- 6-9 years in Product Development, Market Analysis, Go-to-Market Strategies, Client Relations, Sales, Financial Services Industry.
Skill requirements
- Product development experience (taking products from 0 to 1) and knowledge of agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes, with the proven experience to develop and execute strategies to drive business growth
- Experience developing GTM strategies and plans (including Pricing strategies)
- Data driven, intellectual curiosity – predisposition to explore and learn, acquire data, create and test hypotheses
- Experience building strong rapport with external clients and internal teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Experience mentoring, coaching and leading a team of professionals.
- Sound understanding of technologies and business practices related to the financial services industry.

- Excellent technology skills (MS Office, AI etc.)
