About The Role
As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will:
- Support the development and execution of integrated digital marketing strategies across web, SEO/SEM, email, and paid media.
- Ensure the corporate website is an effective marketing and business tool, optimized for performance, usability, accessibility, and SEO.
- Drive qualified traffic and conversions through integrated organic and paid digital marketing strategies, contributing to annual revenue growth targets and customer acquisition goals.
- Create and execute email marketing strategies that nurture leads, retain customers, and drive engagement.
- Drive process improvements and integrate digital operations across departments to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Mentor and educate peers and cross-functional teams on digital marketing best practices and platform usage.
- Influence senior leadership and external partners to adopt innovative digital approaches aligned with organizational goals.
- Analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns to achieve measurable business outcomes.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure high-quality execution of digital initiatives.
What You Need to Succeed
Education:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Certification or demonstrated training in digital marketing platforms and tools (e.g., Google Ads, GA4, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SEMRush, HTML/CSS, accessibility standards) is strongly preferred.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and staying current with evolving digital tools, SEO algorithms, privacy legislation (e.g., CASL), and marketing trends.
Experience:
- 6–9 years of progressive experience in digital marketing, with demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, cross-channel execution, and platform optimization.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams or projects.
- Hands-on experience with CMS platforms (Sitefinity preferred), HTML/CSS, analytics tools (GA4, SEMRush), SEO/SEM, and email automation.
- Experience managing agencies, vendors, and developers to deliver integrated campaigns.
- Strong background in analyzing and interpreting performance data to drive optimization and business results.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-stakes environments, with exposure to crisis communications and urgent deployment cycles preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with demonstrated success in digital transformation initiatives.
Skill requirements
- Hands-on experience with CMS (Sitefinity preferred) and working knowledge of HTML/CSS.
- Proficiency with Google Ads, GA4, Google Search Console, SEMRush, and email automation tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Strong understanding of SEO (on-page, off-page, and technical) and SEM strategies.
- Familiarity with heatmapping tools (e.g., Hotjar).
- Skilled at interpreting data across multiple platforms and translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience with A/B testing, user behavior analysis, and optimizing digital customer journeys.
- Ability to navigate technical issues with CMS, HTML, or vendor integrations.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
- Adept at translating business objectives into technical requirements for internal teams and external vendors.
