The Opportunity:
The Senior Product Manager for the Digital New Products & Innovation team offers an exciting opportunity to champion Symcor’s growth in Digital Communications. You are a Digital Communications expert who will create an actionable Product vision and strategy. You will be the leader within your Agile scrums who partners with the POs to execute key initiatives.
This is a hybrid role with flexible onsite expectations, typically 1 to 2 days per week. New employees are expected to be onsite 2 to 3 times a week during their first three months to support onboarding and collaboration. #LI-Hybrid

- Strategist who defines winning Value Proposition and Product Enhancement: Collaborate with partners to define the value proposition, assess risks, support product pricing ROI, and continuously enhance products to maximize profitability.
- Lead the development of product strategy(ies) and roadmaps to achieve market success in alignment with the overall corporate strategy
- Clearly articulate the product and go-to-market strategy based on a proven product management framework considering both the internal and external landscape to identify market gaps and opportunities.
- Present and playback business problems / opportunities to customers and potential partners for refinement, engaging product solution team as they facilitate customer journey mapping and prioritize concept development activities.
- Market Research and Customer Engagement: Conduct in-depth market research and engage with customers and industry experts to identify new product opportunities and continuously improve existing products.
- Customer Journey and User Experience: Define and enhance the customer journey and user experience through design thinking sessions and collaboration with product solution teams.
- Long-Term Product Planning: Develop a 5-year roadmap to define/scope/explore new products and enhancements, changes, and additional features for existing products.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor, track, and analyze product performance and trends of volume and profitability; prepare management reports, including product business reviews, partner with the finance team to develop financials and forecasts.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Serve as the internal and external evangelist for the assigned product offering, occasionally working with the sales channel and key clients.
- Act as a support representative, with the Product Sales person as lead, within the organization that shares critical information about products, markets, competitors, and prospects.
- Engage Client Service Delivery, Operations and IT to determine requirements for product customization, pricing, time schedules, and change requests and propose solutions for client product/service escalations arising from the Client Relations team.
- Work closely with the IT team in the successful oversight and execution of the product development lifecycle for the assigned product portfolio.
- Closely partner with Product Owners; provide guidance and product expertise to Agile squads for complex use-cases and stories.
- Financial Performance Management: Monitor and analyze product profitability performance and trends and direct other internal departments to take appropriate actions to ensure product financial objectives are met.
- Foster an environment that identifies and recognizes potential of staff and promotes the growth and advancement of individuals.
What You Need to Succeed:
Education:
- University Degree in Business, Marketing or related field (or equivalent in relevant work experience) required.
- MBA or master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
- 5+ years of related experience in digital product management or technical solutions.
- Exposure to leading and influencing stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and push solutions.
- Experience with Digital Communications or Client Communications Management is preferred.
Skill requirements
- Ability to uncover, understand and passionately communicate all aspects of the problem area.
- Ability to dive deep into complex details and connect-the-dots to get to a solution that can be potentially commercialized.
- End-to-end product lifecycle and management.
- Excellent impact and influence skills with written and verbal communication.
- In-depth expertise in conducting market research (products and features), customer interviews, pricing strategies etc.
- Banking, Financial services, Fintech background preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint with an above average ability to leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT to improve productivity.
