The Opportunity:

The Technical Lead, Development Data is responsible for guiding the technical direction of projects and ensuring the successful implementation of technology solutions. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality software products. This role will be leading in the COR.TRANSFORM portfolio and experience with KTA (Kofax TotalAgility) is required for the person to excel in this role.

This is a hybrid role with requirements to be on site 3 days a week, providing a balance between remote flexibility and in-person collaboration.

About The Role:

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Demonstrate best practices in coding, design principles, and technical decision-making. Participate in coding sessions and design reviews to set standards.
• Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Architecting and designing scalable, reliable, and secure technical solutions that meet business requirements.
• Ensuring the codebase is maintainable, efficient, and adheres to best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality. Establish coding guidelines and standards for the team to follow.
• Identifying and resolving technical challenges and bottlenecks, ensuring smooth project progression.
• Implement solutions to improve system performance and reliability
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and communicate technical concepts effectively.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging experimentation and learning

What You Need to Succeed:

Education:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications in cloud platforms or programming languages is considered an asset.

Experience:

• 7+ years in software development with hands-on coding and solution design.
• 2+ years in a leadership role guiding teams and making strategic technical decisions.
• Proven track record in managing technical projects from planning to delivery.
• Experience with Kofax TotalAgility (KTA), preferably version 7.11 or higher, on-premises or cloud
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and automation tools.

Skill requirements

• Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable and reliable system architecture.
• Knowledge of database design, SQL, and NoSQL database.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Strong decision-making skills, especially in technical and project-related matters.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong skills in documenting technical solutions and project progress.
