The Opportunity:

In alignment with Symcor's objectives of increasing revenues and growth and through deep understanding of Symcor products, optimize opportunities with existing clients. This role focuses on growing business within the Communications, Pay, and Transform pillars of Symcor’s service offerings. A strong understanding of client communications, digital mail, or statement processing solutions would be a strong asset.

The Inside Sales Representative will work primarily with mid-size volume accounts, supporting business expansion through relationship building, needs assessment, and solution selling. Success in this role will require a combination of sales acumen, product knowledge, and a proactive approach to client engagement.

This is a hybrid role with requirements to be on site 3 days a week, providing a balance between remote flexibility and in-person collaboration.

About The Role:

  • Manage a portfolio of assigned client relationships (CRs), primarily mid-size volume accounts, with the goal of maximizing revenue through solution-based selling.
  • Develop annual and quarterly account plans and sales forecasts tied to opportunities identified via client engagements and the change request (CR) process.
  • Coordinate with internal product, operations, and implementation teams to develop proposals, demos, and presentations tailored to client-specific use cases.
  • Regularly engage with key contacts across client organizations, including procurement, operations, and IT, to understand business challenges and match them with Symcor’s solutions.
  • Track and report on pipeline, deal progression, and revenue forecasts using CRM tools and sales dashboards.
  • Partner with Client Success, Product, and Marketing to ensure alignment of messaging, delivery, and client satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities by monitoring changes within client accounts and staying abreast of industry trends.
  • Support the completion of RFIs/RFPs where applicable for account growth opportunities.
  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction and act as a voice of the customer within Symcor.

What You Need to Succeed:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of inside sales or business development experience, preferably in B2B or enterprise environments.
  • Experience working in or selling to financial services, telecom, utilities, or large enterprise clients is an asset.
  • Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets or quotas.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders in a complex sales environment.
  • Familiarity with a solution-selling approach, including identifying client needs and tailoring product messaging.

Skill Requirements:

  • Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience delivering client presentations.
  • Ability to manage multiple deals at various stages of the pipeline concurrently.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; able to interpret client data and business metrics.
  • Collaborative mindset; able to work across teams and contribute to broader sales strategies.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • High degree of professionalism, business acumen, and client-centric focus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Experience using productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Teams.
