The Opportunity:


The Vice President, Strategy & Business Transformation is a senior role that plays a pivotal role in shaping Symcor’s future. You’ll collaborate closely with the CEO, executive team, and other key stakeholders to drive impactful initiatives. Your focus will be on strategic vision, growth, innovation, and operational excellence. As the leader of business transformation, you’ll champion change management, process improvement, and project excellence.

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on Symcor’s trajectory.

This is a hybrid role with no mandatory days in office. We do expect that the candidate is available to come in for purpose-driven planned, and ad-hoc meetings such as in-person team collaborations, team events, workshops, etc. based on team needs.

About The Role:

  • Corporate Strategy Development
  • Develop and communicate the company’s strategic vision, mission, and values.
  • Align strategic vision with business objectives and priorities.
  • Execute long-term vision, strategy, and goals.
  • Lead strategic planning processes and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
  • Identify and evaluate growth opportunities, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Prioritize new markets, products, and partnerships.
  • Build relationships with external partners and industry experts.
  • Corporate Strategy Oversight
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators for strategic initiatives.
  • Manage the portfolio of strategic projects.
  • Provide thought leadership to senior management on industry trends.
  • Business Transformation
  • Oversee change management, process improvement, and project management.
  • Implement initiatives aligned with the organization’s vision and goals.
  • Manage complex cross-functional change projects.
  • Lead and coach teams toward innovation and continuous improvement.

What You Need to Succeed:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field.
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of functional experience in areas such as corporate strategy development, business transformation, change management, process improvement, analyzing data and providing insights, partnering and relationship building.

Skill requirements:

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful strategic plans and initiatives that deliver measurable results.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and information.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate and communicate the company's strategy and vision to various audiences.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams and drive alignment and engagement.
  • Highly adaptable, flexible, and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment.
  • Passionate, innovative, and customer-centric, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft 365 – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
