As the Manager, National Capability, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the development, integration, and enhancement of Supply Chain capabilities across all operational regions nationwide. This role ensures that resources, processes, and strategic initiatives are aligned to meet both current and future demands. Led by the Manager, National Distribution Transformation, this opportunity will best suit a strong collaborator to ensure consistent and effective delivery of services or operations at a national level.

- Lead the strategic development and implementation of national capability frameworks within Supply Chain.
- Assess current capabilities across teams and regions; identify gaps and areas for improvement.
- Drive standardization and scalability of best practices, systems, and processes.
- Collaborate with H&S, HR, Distribution, IT, and other departments to build workforce capability (training, succession planning, resource deployment).
- Develop national readiness plans for large-scale projects, emergencies, or service delivery needs.
- Support the integration of technology and innovation into capability-building initiatives.
- Monitor KPIs, performance benchmarks, and compliance with national standards or regulatory requirements.
- Report regularly to senior leadership on capability maturity, risks, and progress.
- Manage a team of site Training Specialists from all Distribution Centres.
We’re looking for:
- A college diploma coupled with a Certified Training and Development Professional (CTPD), Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP), or Train-the-Trainer designation is preferred.
- Proven ability in strategic thinking and systems-level planning to drive long-term organizational goals.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with success in coordinating and influencing cross-functional teams.
- Deep expertise in capability assessment, workforce development, and talent optimization.
- Hands-on experience leading change management and organizational development initiatives.
- Skilled in data-driven decision-making, leveraging analytics to guide strategy and performance improvement.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, fostering alignment across all levels of the business.
- Practical understanding of product flow and operational processes within a supply chain environment.
- The ability to be onsite 5 days a week to accommodate the needs of the role.
