Driving Secure and Future-Ready Network Excellence at Home
As the Network Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the Network team to ensure a dependable, responsive, and supportable corporate network and modern collaboration environment – built and maintained in alignment with industry best practices, tools, and processes. Led by the Senior Manager, Network and Security, this opportunity suits hands-on and forward-thinking leader with deep technical expertise, strong operational discipline, and a commitment to continuous improvement and security best practices.

- Provide leadership, guidance, development, and direction to a collaborative team of Network Administrators and Analysts.
- Manage work schedules, conduct performance reviews, coordinate training, and provide off-hours support and backup for the team.
- Take initiative to proactively dive in, troubleshoot issues, and provide support wherever needed.
- Ensure proper placement, installation, and maintenance of network and collaboration infrastructure across all of Home’s Distribution Centres.
- Monitor and log the network and collaboration infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance.
- Oversee network processes and procedures to ensure stable operation and efficient performance. Plan, measure, and report on process and procedural improvements.
- Maintain strong awareness of network security best practices, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and alignment with industry standards.
- Serve as the escalation point for troubleshooting and resolving network incidents and problems.
- Oversee the integration of new projects into the network and telecommunications environments.
- Participate as a member of the Change Advisory Board.
We’re looking for:
- Bachelors or Diploma in Computer Science. Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Network+, or equivalent are preferred
- A minimum 10 years of progressive experience in network infrastructure, including at least 5 years in a leadership or people management role.
- Working knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto networking technologies, including WAN, LAN, and cloud (Azure) architectures. Familiarity with ITIL processes is an asset.
- Demonstrates strong leadership and effectively supervises, mentors, and motivates the team to maintain focus on key objectives.
- Excellent understanding of project management methodologies, with proven experience managing IT projects.
- Demonstrates exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to interpret technical and non-technical information and present it in a clear, user-friendly manner.
- Effectively solves complex problems using standard processes and innovative tools; self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented in delivering complete solutions.
- Ability and availability to provide extended hours and off-hour support.
- The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
