As a member of the Wireless Finance team, you will be supporting the Wireless team to deliver analytics and reporting that are key to our business performance and results.

What you'll do:

  • Conduct forecasting and budget process for Wireless Finance including segment consolidation, analytical review of financial submissions, and distribution of Management and Finance reporting packages
  • Diligently track weekly financial, and KPI results against multiple comparison points including Forecast, Budget, and Prior Year
  • Developing and maintaining FP&A models with extensive Essbase integration
  • Maintain and develop sophisticated financial models to support performance management with trend and program impact assumptions
  • Taking a lead in validating data/report integrity and ensure alignment in the organization
  • Build relationships with wireless team and other departments to ensure appropriate information flow and understanding of overall reporting process
  • Supporting the Senior Manager in ensuring financial objectives are being met and that all relevant financial processes and procedures are being adhered to
  • Lead special projects / ad-hoc assignments as required. Establish and validate assumptions to assess financial impact and prepare sensitivity analysis

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of related finance and/or business experience
  • University Degree in business (B.Comm/ MBA) or CPA accounting designation
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle Essbase, and modelling skills required
  • Strong communication, and presentation skills
  • Thorough understanding of financial accounting principles (especially IFRS 15), excellent analytical capabilities and strong process documentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build strong relationships with business groups and other finance organizations
  • Comfortable interacting with Senior Executives and sitting in on meetings when Manager is unavailable
