Join the Product Marketing team at Interac, where we translate product and client strategies into go-to-market plans that drive revenue. Our team supports Interac across both B2B and B2B2C marketing —from strategy to execution to measurement.

To achieve this, we work cross-functionally with product teams, client teams, and various marketing functions. We focus on positioning our products in market through compelling storytelling, grounded in a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, customer needs, and the value our products deliver.

As a Product Marketing Intern for Interac Debit, reporting to the Lead, Product Marketing, you’ll play a supporting role in delivering against our product marketing strategy. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with our external agency partners and learn how Interac delivers best-in-class product marketing programs in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Campaign and Asset Execution Support: Coordinate day-to-day activities with internal teams and external agency partners to support the delivery of digital advertising campaigns, website updates and sales material.

  • Performance Tracking: Collect and consolidate key performance metrics from various teams into a monthly dashboard that highlights the impact of marketing deliverables.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Assist in the development of presentations and collateral to educate internal stakeholders on marketing initiatives, plans, and outcomes.

  • Go-to-Market Planning: Contribute to the integrated go-to-market strategy for launching Interac Debit on transit in new cities with constructive suggestions to the plan

  • Asset Management: Organize and distribute key marketing assets to support internal stakeholder requests and ensure alignment across team as well as updating a central place for marketing assets

You bring:

  • Currently enrolled in a university or college program in a relevant discipline, ideally in Marketing, Business, or a related field

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences and write for both internal and agency consumption

  • Comfortable working with performance data to collect, organize, and visualize metrics for sharing with team members

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and timelines, meet deadlines, and help keep partners accountable

  • Collaborative and relationship-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally across teams and with external agency partners

  • Critical thinker demonstrated through case studies or coursework involving complex problem-solving and presenting solutions to different audiences/stakeholders

  • Proactive and curious, with a strong interest in marketing trends and the ability to audit competitive and industry activity to inform strategy

  • Agile self-starter, comfortable navigating ambiguity and independently seeking out answers internally and externally

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, MS Teams) with a preference for working knowledge of Excel

  • Although not required, you have some familiarity or previous experience with the following:

  • Graphic Design (Adobe Photoshop, In Design, Canva, or similiar)

  • Data fluency

  • Project management tools such as Asana
