Your role and responsibilities

As a Student/Intern – Generalist, you will be employed by IBM as part of your academic program or during university breaks.

This role is designed for students who are looking to gain professional experience while continuing their studies.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Support projects: You will contribute to various projects and tasks, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to different areas of the business. This will help you develop a deeper understanding of the company’s operations and goals.

• Learn from professionals: You will have the opportunity to observe and learn from experienced professionals, gaining insights into their roles and responsibilities. This will support the development of your skills and knowledge in a real-world environment.

• Support teams: You will assist teams with various tasks and initiatives, developing your teamwork and communication skills. This will enable you to collaborate with others and contribute to the team’s success.

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred education
Technical Diploma
Required technical and professional expertise

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Production Engineering, International Trade, or related fields.

• Fundamentals of Administration or Project Management

• Intermediate Excel

• Introduction to Data Analysis

• Communication and Customer Service skills

• Soft skills: teamwork, problem-solving, productivity

• Digital tools: PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, among others

• Technology courses: AI, Power BI, programming logic

• Basic knowledge of SAP (ERP, basic modules, navigation)

• Agile methodologies: Scrum and Kanban (basic level)

• Fluent English (mandatory)

Preferred technical and professional experience
Procurement-focused student pursuing a degree in Business Administration / Engineering , with fluent English, seeking an internship in Production Procurement. Strong analytical mindset with interest in supplier management, cost optimization, and end-to-end procurement processes. Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to contribute in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
