Your role and responsibilities

As a Territory Sales Specialist – Software, you will own and drive sales for IBM’s software portfolio within your assigned territory.

What you’ll do:

• Own the full sales cycle

Lead end-to-end sales execution—from pipeline creation and qualification to negotiation and closing.

• Drive software growth

Position IBM’s portfolio (Data, AI, Automation, Integration, Security) to solve real client challenges and grow revenue.

• Engage clients at all levels

Build trusted relationships with business and technical stakeholders, understanding their priorities and aligning solutions to outcomes.

• Collaborate across IBM ecosystem

Work closely with technical specialists, partners, and account teams to co-create winning solutions.

• Develop pipeline and opportunities

Proactively identify new opportunities, expand existing accounts, and drive territory growth.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Proven experience in enterprise software sales or solution selling

• Track record of managing end-to-end sales cycles

• Strong client-facing and communication skills

• Ability to understand and translate business needs into technical solutions

• Experience working in a matrix organization / team-based selling environment

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Knowledge of enterprise software portfolios (AI, Data, Automation, Cloud)

• Experience working with partners and indirect sales models

• Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills

• Familiarity with Croatian market and key industries

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (Master’s is a plus)
