As a Partner Sales Leader, you will be responsible for driving sales of IBM solutions worldwide through business partners. You will work closely with partners to create and deploy sales plays, progress and close complex deals, and set strategic direction to ensure partner success and growth.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Drive Partner Sales Growth: Create and deploy IBM sales plays through partners, progressing and closing the most complex deals to drive sales of IBM solutions worldwide.
• Set Strategic Direction: Collaborate with partners to set executable strategic direction, ensuring their success and growth through the sale of IBM solutions.
• Co-Create Solutions: Support solution co-creation with partners, providing use-case expertise and guidance for portfolio of brand offerings.
• Influence Partner Agenda: Work closely with TPAs worldwide to influence partners' tech agenda and inclusion of brand-specific technology in partner solutions.
• Provide Expert Guidance: Offer expertise and guidance to partners to help them succeed in selling IBM solutions.
• Deep Expertise in Partner Sales: Proven track record of driving sales growth through business partners, with a strong understanding of the complexities involved in creating and deploying sales plays, progressing and closing deals, and setting strategic direction.
• Experience with Solution Co-Creation: Demonstrated ability to support solution co-creation with partners, providing use-case expertise and guidance for a portfolio of brand offerings, and driving the inclusion of brand-specific technology in partner solutions.
• Strategic Leadership in Tech Agenda: Established expertise in influencing partners' tech agendas, working closely with TPAs worldwide to shape the direction of partner solutions and ensure the success and growth of partners.
• Complex Deal Closure: A history of successfully progressing and closing the most complex deals with partners, leveraging expertise and guidance to drive sales of IBM solutions worldwide.
• Global Partner Ecosystem: Experience working with partners worldwide, with a deep understanding of the global partner ecosystem and the ability to navigate its complexities to drive sales growth and partner success.
• Solution Co-Creation Expertise: Deep understanding of solution co-creation with partners, including use-case expertise and guidance for a portfolio of brand offerings. Ability to drive the inclusion of brand-specific technology in partner solutions. Proven track record of supporting partners in creating tailored solutions.
• Global Tech Agenda Influence: Established expertise in shaping the direction of partner solutions, working closely with TPAs worldwide to influence partners' tech agendas. Ability to navigate the complexities of the global partner ecosystem to drive sales growth and partner success.
• Complex Deal Negotiation: Experience with negotiating and closing complex deals with partners, leveraging expertise and guidance to drive sales of IBM solutions worldwide. Ability to navigate the intricacies of deal closure to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
This position is eligible for participation in an IBM Sales Incentive plan. Actual incentive opportunity will be based on performance and the eligible Target Incentive, as addressed in the applicable plan, all of which is subject to change. The compensation range listed for this position is the IBM Reference Salary that is used when you are not actively participating in a sales plan. Your actual base pay plus incentive opportunity will be determined by the Incentive Plan assigned to you.
