Introduction

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Fusion ERP Technical Reports and OIC Consultant with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Fusion ERP reporting tools, capable of leading technical implementations, designing complex integrations, and mentoring junior team members.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • Architect and implement REST and SOAP-based web services and API integrations
  • Build end-to-end integrations between Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud and third-party applications (Salesforce, Workday, legacy systems, etc.)
  • Develop and optimize File-Based Data Imports (FBDI), HCM Data Loader (HDL), and ADFdi integrations
  • Design and implement OIC Process Automation and orchestration workflows
  • Troubleshoot complex integration issues, performance bottlenecks, and error handling
  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize integrations in production environments
    • Implement best practices for integration design, security, and governance
    • Design and develop advanced custom reports using BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence), and Smart View
  • Create complex SQL queries, data models, and sub-templates for enterprise reporting requirements
  • Develop reports across Financial Management, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, and HCM modules
  • Build interactive dashboards and analysis using OTBI
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
  • Configure and schedule reports using ESS (Enterprise Scheduler Service)
  • Optimize report performance and troubleshoot reporting issues

Required technical and professional expertise
  • Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud (SaaS)
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or similar integration platforms (Oracle SOA, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft)
  • 5+ years of experience developing reports using BI Publisher (BIP) and OTBI
  • Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, XML, XSLT, XPath, and Groovy scripting
  • Deep understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and integration patterns
  • Extensive experience with FBDI, HDL, ADFdi, and Web Services (SOAP/REST)
  • Solid knowledge of Oracle Fusion modules: Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM), SCM (Procurement, Inventory, Order Management), or HCM (Core HR, Payroll, Talent Management)
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion security model (roles, privileges, data security policies)
  • Proven ability to lead technical implementations and mentor team members
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Experience with VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service) for custom application development
  • Knowledge of OIC Process Automation and Oracle Process Cloud Service
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and cloud architecture
  • Experience with Subledger Accounting (SLA), Costing, or Financial Reporting Studio (FRS)
  • Understanding of Oracle EPM Cloud (FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS)
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for Oracle Cloud
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience in at least 2 full lifecycle Oracle Fusion implementations
  • Oracle certifications in Oracle Fusion ERP or Oracle Integration Cloud
  • Experience working with global, distributed teams
