Introduction

## Key Responsibilities

### SoC Integration & Architecture
- Lead integration of ARM-based processor subsystems (Cortex-A, Cortex-R, Cortex-M series) into complex SoCs
- Define and implement SoC architecture including bus fabrics (AXI, AHB, APB), interconnects, and memory hierarchies
- Develop integration strategies for IP blocks including processors, peripherals, memory controllers, and custom logic
- Collaborate with architecture teams to define system specifications and partitioning strategies

### RTL Design & Development
- Design and implement complex digital logic blocks using Verilog/SystemVerilog
- Develop synthesizable RTL code following industry best practices and coding guidelines
- Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation including specifications, block diagrams, and timing requirements
- Perform RTL simulations and functional verification of designed modules

### Verification & Validation
- Perform functional verification, coverage analysis, and debug of design issues
- Collaborate with verification teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Support silicon bring-up and post-silicon validation activities

### Timing & Physical Design Support
- Work with physical design teams to achieve timing closure
- Analyze timing paths, identify critical paths, and implement timing optimizations
- Perform static timing analysis (STA) and resolve timing violations
- Support synthesis, place-and-route, and physical verification activities

### Technical Leadership
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
- Review design specifications and RTL code from team members
- Drive design methodology improvements and best practices
- Participate in design reviews and technical decision-making

## Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Logic Design Engineer with strong expertise in ARM-based System-on-Chip (SoC) integration. The ideal candidate will have 8-15 years of hands-on experience in digital logic design, RTL development, and complex SoC integration projects. This role requires deep technical knowledge of ARM architectures and proven ability to deliver high-quality, production-ready designs.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

Experience
- **8-15 years** of experience in digital logic design and SoC development
- **Minimum 5 years** of hands-on experience with ARM-based SoC integration
- Proven track record of successful tape-outs and production silicon delivery
- Experience with multiple ARM processor families (Cortex-A, Cortex-R, Cortex-M)

Technical Skills

ARM Architecture Expertise
- Deep understanding of ARM processor architectures and microarchitectures
- Experience with ARM AMBA protocols (AXI4, AXI5, AHB, APB)
- Knowledge of ARM CoreLink interconnects and system IP
- Familiarity with ARM TrustZone, GIC (Generic Interrupt Controller), and memory management units
- Experience with ARM development tools and methodologies

RTL Design & Verification
- Expert-level proficiency in Verilog and/or SystemVerilog
- Strong understanding of digital design principles, FSM design, and pipelining
- Experience with industry-standard simulation tools (VCS, ModelSim, Xcelium)
- Knowledge of SystemVerilog assertions (SVA) and formal verification
- Proficiency with scripting languages (Python, Perl, TCL) for automation

SoC Integration
- Experience integrating complex IP blocks and subsystems
- Knowledge of clock domain crossing (CDC) techniques and verification
- Understanding of power management architectures (clock gating, power gating, DVFS)
- Experience with DFT (Design for Test) insertion and ATPG
- Familiarity with on-chip bus architectures and NoC (Network-on-Chip) concepts

Tools & Methodologies
- Experience with synthesis tools (Design Compiler, Genus)
- Proficiency with static timing analysis tools (PrimeTime, Tempus)
- Knowledge of lint and CDC checking tools (SpyGlass, Meridian)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN, Perforce)

Advanced Technical Skills
- Experience with high-speed interface integration (PCIe, USB, DDR, Ethernet)
- Knowledge of security architectures and cryptographic accelerators
- Familiarity with AI/ML accelerator integration

- Understanding of advanced process nodes (7nm, 5nm, 3nm)
