Your role and responsibilities

As a Business Transformation Consultant specializing in Procurement, you play a crucial role in guiding companies towards optimizing their procurement processes and strategies. You collaborate with clients to review and refine their existing business strategy or devise a new one, aligning it with market and competitive forces. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Develop Transformation Recommendations: Identify performance gaps between the client's current state and desired future state, using data-driven tools to pinpoint areas for improvement, and develop comprehensive transformation recommendations to address these gaps. • Enhance Procurement's Strategic Role: Focus on enhancing procurement's strategic role within the organization, contributing to the overall business transformation and helping clients achieve long-term success. • Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to review and refine their existing business strategy or devise a new one, aligning it with market and competitive forces. • Identify Strategic Capabilities: Determine strategic capabilities essential for creating and maintaining a competitive edge, including process, information technology, organization enablement, or knowledge.

• Procurement Process Optimization Experience: Experience with analyzing and refining procurement processes to identify areas for improvement and optimize overall performance. This includes understanding market and competitive forces that impact procurement strategies. • Strategic Capability Development: Experience in identifying and developing strategic capabilities essential for creating and maintaining a competitive edge, such as process improvements, information technology integration, organizational enablement, or knowledge management. • Data-Driven Analysis: Experience with using data-driven tools to analyze performance gaps between current and desired states, and developing actionable recommendations to address these gaps. • Business Strategy Alignment: Experience in collaborating with clients to review, refine, or devise business strategies that align with market and competitive forces, and enhance procurement's strategic role within the organization. • Transformation Recommendation Development: Experience in developing comprehensive transformation recommendations that address identified performance gaps and contribute to overall business transformation and long-term success.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Procurement Technology Knowledge: Experience with procurement technology platforms and tools, including data analytics software, to drive process optimization and strategic decision-making. • Market Analysis Expertise: Experience in analyzing market trends and competitive forces to inform procurement strategies and recommendations. • Organizational Change Management: Experience in managing organizational change and developing strategies to ensure successful adoption of new procurement processes and technologies.
