Introduction

The successful candidate should be an experienced Consulting practitioner with several years of consulting experience and at least two recent years with Consulting. Strong communications, coaching, and mentoring skills are essential. The role also requires excellent fluency in spoken and written English, excellent facilitation capabilities, with preferred experience in business, stakeholder management, project management; some background in experiential learning is preferred.

Your role and responsibilities

This position is as a faculty member of the Global Learning & Knowledge Faculty Shared Services (FSS) team and is responsible for delivering various IBM Consulting Partner & Professional Development (PPD) education programs to IBM Consulting professionals worldwide.

General Skills:
Applies knowledge of desired learning outcomes

Demonstrates knowledge of course subject matter

Communicates/leverages knowledge of Consulting strategy

Communicates/leverages knowledge of managing through complex relationships and engagements

Ability to offer business insights and engaging "client stories" in support of course subject matter

Experience in role plays, feedback, individual coaching & personal experimentation to raise self-awareness

Experience in practice of personal impact techniques and improve relationship effectiveness

Optional: Project Management Institute (PMI) - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Process Skill

Demonstrate excellent training and/or facilitation skills

Applies knowledge of learner-centered training principles

Demonstrates skill and passion for coaching and facilitating groups

Possesses excellent listening, presentation, and communication skills

Adopts a facilitative teaching style rather than authoritative

Energetic, enthusiastic, flexible and able to maintain a sense of humor

Works effectively in a team in a time-pressured environment

Comfortable working in a mostly remote work environment with virtual teams across various time zones

Ability to illicit participant contributions, facilitate group discussion and draw out key learning points

Willingness to communicate own experiences and lessons learned in a risk-free environment

Ability to utilize pre-developed course material and able to provide constructive feedback on the course content

Experience in coaching for career development and an ability to coach within a classroom environment applying either the GROW and/or co-active coaching models

Be able to give appropriate constructive feedback

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
