In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting FutureNow Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Package Consultant for Microsoft Business Central, you will utilize your strong technical understanding of different versions of Microsoft Dynamics NAV to deliver customized solutions. You will leverage your foundation-level understanding of database management systems with Microsoft SQL Server and integration frameworks to drive business outcomes. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design and Develop Solutions: Design, develop, customize, and configure tables, pages, codeunits, reports, XML ports, and queries to meet business requirements. This includes utilizing your experience with Visual Studio .NET, Power BI, SSIS, and SSAS to deliver high-quality solutions. • Integrate Microsoft Dynamics NAV: Configure and integrate Microsoft Dynamics NAV to ensure seamless functionality and data flow. This involves applying your knowledge of database management systems and integration frameworks to optimize system performance. • Advise on Business Central: Provide expert advice on Microsoft Dynamics NAV App and Business Central, leveraging your experience to drive informed decision-making and business growth. • Deliver Customized Solutions: Apply your technical expertise to deliver customized solutions that meet client needs, utilizing your knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and related technologies.

• Technical Understanding of Microsoft Dynamics NAV: Experience with different versions of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (2009-2017), including business objects (basic and advanced). • Database Management Systems: Foundation-level understanding of database management systems with Microsoft SQL Server and integration frameworks. • Development and Customization: Experience with design, development, customization, and configuration of tables, pages, codeunits, reports, XML ports, and queries in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. • Integration and Configuration: Experience with configuration and integration of Microsoft Dynamics NAV, including optimizing system performance. • Microsoft Technologies: Experience with Visual Studio .NET, Power BI, SSIS, and SSAS is an added advantage.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Visual Studio .NET Skills: Exposure to Visual Studio .NET, with the ability to leverage its capabilities to deliver high-quality solutions. This includes utilizing .NET to design, develop, and customize Microsoft Dynamics NAV applications. • Power BI Expertise: Experience working with Power BI, including creating reports and dashboards to drive business insights and informed decision-making. • SSIS and SSAS Knowledge: Exposure to SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), with the ability to apply this knowledge to optimize system performance and deliver customized solutions.
