In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Project Manager: SAP HANA, you will lead SAP HANA implementation projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring successful implementation of SAP HANA solutions that meet business objectives. You will manage cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Manage SAP HANA Projects: Develop and execute project plans, resource allocation, and budget management to ensure successful implementation of SAP HANA solutions.

• Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Coordinate and lead teams, including SAP HANA consultants, IT, and business stakeholders, to deliver projects on time and within budget.

• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Gather requirements, identify project scope, and define project deliverables to ensure SAP HANA solutions meet business objectives and customer needs.

• Ensure Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deadlines, and ensure quality assurance and testing of SAP HANA solutions.

• Manage Vendor Relationships: Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure successful project delivery.

• Exposure to SAP HANA Products: Familiarity with SAP HANA solutions, including their capabilities and applications, to effectively manage implementation projects.

• Project Management Methodologies: Understanding of project management principles, practices, and tools to develop and execute project plans, manage resources, and ensure timely delivery.

• Large-Scale Implementation Experience: Experience working with large-scale SAP HANA implementation projects, including managing cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors.

• IT Project Delivery: Exposure to IT project delivery, including budget management, resource allocation, and quality assurance to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Vendor Relationship Management: Experience working with vendors, including contract management and relationship building, to ensure successful project delivery.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Exposure to IT Service Management: Familiarity with IT service management principles and practices is beneficial for effective project delivery and ensuring SAP HANA solutions meet business objectives.

• Knowledge of SAP HANA Architecture: Understanding of SAP HANA architecture and its components can be advantageous in managing implementation projects and ensuring successful integration with existing systems.

• Familiarity with Agile Methodologies: Exposure to agile project management methodologies can be helpful in managing and delivering SAP HANA implementation projects in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
