In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting FutureNow Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As an Application Developer specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, you will design and implement solutions leveraging the platform's Sales & Service Apps (CRM). This role requires a strong understanding of standard workflows and out-of-the-box features of Dynamics CRM. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design and Implement Solutions: Design and implement solutions that meet business requirements, utilizing the platform's Sales & Service Apps (CRM), and leveraging standard workflows and out-of-the-box features of Dynamics CRM. • Develop and Configure: Develop and configure plug-ins, custom workflow assemblies, and scripts using C#, .NET, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies. • Troubleshoot and Resolve: Troubleshoot and resolve business application issues, ensuring solutions follow coding best practices and standards. • Create Data Migration and Integration Mappings: Create data migration and integration mappings to ensure seamless data flow between systems. • Ensure Coding Best Practices: Ensure solutions follow coding best practices and standards, adhering to industry standards and organizational guidelines.

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Expertise: Experience with designing and implementing solutions leveraging the platform's Sales & Service Apps (CRM), including standard workflows and out-of-the-box features of Dynamics CRM. • Programming Skills: Experience with C#, .NET, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies for developing and configuring plug-ins, custom workflow assemblies, and scripts. • Data Integration Knowledge: Experience with creating data migration and integration mappings to ensure seamless data flow between systems, including familiarity with SSRS (SQL and FetchXML), SSIS, and XRM tools. • Troubleshooting Expertise: Experience with troubleshooting and resolving business application issues, ensuring solutions follow coding best practices and standards. • Technical Familiarity: Experience with HTML & CSS, OData, REST, JSON, and AJAX, as well as out-of-the-box features of Dynamics AX, X++, Workflow Development and Configuration, and SSRS Reporting.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Familiarity with Dynamics AX: Exposure to out-of-the-box features of Dynamics AX, including X++ and Workflow Development and Configuration, is beneficial for this role. • Knowledge of SSRS Reporting: Experience with SSRS Reporting and C# coding is advantageous for creating reports and integrating data. • Exposure to XRM Tools: Familiarity with XRM tools, including their application in data migration and integration mappings, is desirable.
