In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting FutureNow Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As an Infrastructure Specialist for Projects and Premium Services, you play a critical role in ensuring the robustness and reliability of clients' IT HW and/or SW infrastructure. You leverage deep technical expertise to design and implement improvements to both the infrastructure itself and the associated technical support processes.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Design and Implement Improvements: Design and implement improvements to clients' IT infrastructure and technical support processes, enabling seamless integration and optimization of targeted IT environments.

• Deliver Project Services: Deliver time-bound project services to existing clients, translating client requirements into the design, implementation, and customization of technology solutions within complex IT environments.

• Provide Premium Services: Deliver standardized, proactive service offerings enhanced with value-adding components tailored to specific client needs, such as on-site support and compliance with data privacy requirements.

• Manage Critical Issues: Manage the resolution of critical issues efficiently and effectively, acting as a trusted expert and named focal point for client inquiries.

• Support IT Environment Changes: Support scheduled IT environment changes and help prevent system downtime or performance degradation, improving the reliability and availability of the client's technology landscape.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Japanese language proficiency Native, N1 - N2 level.

• Amenable to work on a client dictated shift (day, mid, night) and open to work in any of IBM locations (Quezon City or Cebu).

• Technical Infrastructure Expertise: Experience with designing and implementing improvements to IT infrastructure and technical support processes, enabling seamless integration and optimization of targeted IT environments.

• Complex IT Environments: Experience working with complex IT environments, including on-premises and off-premises infrastructure, to deliver technology solutions that meet client requirements.

• Proactive Service Delivery: Experience with delivering standardized, proactive service offerings, such as Premium Technical Account Manager (TAM) or legacy Account Advocate roles, enhanced with value-adding components tailored to specific client needs.

• Critical Issue Resolution: Experience with managing the resolution of critical issues efficiently and effectively, acting as a trusted expert and named focal point for client inquiries.

• IT Environment Management: Experience supporting scheduled IT environment changes and preventing system downtime or performance degradation, improving the reliability and availability of the client's technology landscape.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• IT Service Management Knowledge: Exposure to IT service management principles and practices, including service design, transition, and operation. Understanding of service level agreements, incident, problem, and change management processes.

• Technical Troubleshooting Skills: Experience working with technical troubleshooting methodologies and tools, analyzing complex technical problems, and developing effective solutions.

• Industry-Specific Knowledge: Exposure to industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices related to IT infrastructure and technical support processes.
