Your role and responsibilities

Our team is seeking candidates with strong analytical thinking, a passion for solving business problems, and an interest in leveraging AI and automation to drive impact. We’re looking for individuals who enjoy structuring problems, coordinating teams, and telling compelling stories with data.

The successful candidate will join a fast-paced consulting team composed of Partners, Product Managers, Data Scientists, Architects, and Software Engineers. In this role, you will help plan, coordinate, and support the delivery of AI-driven solutions to solve enterprise-scale challenges. You’ll act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment, clarity, and measurable outcomes.

As a Business Analyst Intern, you will contribute to project planning, requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, and presentation of insights. You’ll gain exposure to industry-leading technologies and AI initiatives on cloud platforms (e.g., IBM Cloud, Azure), while helping translate complex technical work into clear business value.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting project planning, timelines, and deliverables across multiple engagements
  • Gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into actionable tasks
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions
  • Preparing presentations, reports, and client-ready materials to communicate insights and progress
  • Assisting in identifying opportunities to apply AI and automation to improve business processes
  • Tracking project performance and helping ensure successful delivery against objectives

You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where diverse perspectives are valued, and where team members are encouraged to take initiative, think critically, and contribute to meaningful outcomes for clients.

This position resides in Toronto/Calgary/Montreal/Ottawa and is a 4-month work term commencing in September 2026. It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work-term. Please note that MBA and PHD Candidates are not eligible for this program.

Candidates considered for a Quebec position must be fluent in French.

Required technical and professional expertise
  • Demonstrated interest in data, analytics, AI, or automation through academic coursework, internships, or personal projects
  • Basic understanding of data concepts (e.g., data analysis, dashboards, or reporting) and how they support business decision-making
  • Familiarity with AI/GenAI concepts (e.g., large language models, prompt design, automation use cases) is an asset, but not required
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present ideas, insights, and recommendations to peers and stakeholders
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Previous internship or project experience in business analysis, consulting, project coordination, or a related role
  • Experience creating presentations and reports using tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, or similar
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or basic data querying (e.g., SQL)
  • Exposure to project management or collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello)
  • General understanding of how AI and automation can be applied to improve business processes

The salary range for the position is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate salary within this range may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience for this position.
