In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

Als Technical Specialist im Quality Engineering – Next Generation Networks (NGN) übernimmst du eine führende technische Rolle in anspruchsvollen Telekommunikationsprojekten. Du bist verantwortlich für die Qualitätssicherung komplexer, netzwerkzentrierter Softwaresysteme und arbeitest an geschäftskritischen Lösungen im Telco‑Umfeld.

Deine Aufgaben
• Technische Verantwortung für Qualitätssicherung und Testing in komplexen NGN‑/Telco‑Systemlandschaften
• Planung, Durchführung und Steuerung von Software‑Tests in netzwerkfokussierten Umgebungen
• Analyse technischer Anforderungen und Ableitung geeigneter Teststrategien und Testansätze
• Durchführung von System‑, Integrations‑, End‑to‑End‑ und Regressions‑Tests
• Testanalyse und Fehlerdiagnose auf Linux‑basierten Systemen
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Architektur, Entwicklung, Betrieb und Fachbereichen
• Sicherstellung von Qualitätsstandards in hochverfügbaren, verteilten Systemen
• Aktive Mitgestaltung und Weiterentwicklung von QE‑Standards, Methoden und Best Practices
• Professionelle Kommunikation mit Stakeholdern auf fließendem Deutsch (mündlich und schriftlich)

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

Fließende Deutschkenntnisse (C1/C2) – verhandlungssicher in Wort und Schrift
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung als Senior Quality Engineer / Test Engineer in technisch anspruchsvollen Umgebungen
• Umfangreiche Erfahrung im Software‑Testing mit starkem Fokus auf netzwerkzentrierte Systeme
• Praktische Projekterfahrung im Telekommunikationsumfeld (Telco), nachweisbare Projekterfolge
• Expertenwissen in Linux‑basierten Systemen
• ISTQB Advanced Level (Test Manager / Technical Test Analyst oder vergleichbar)


Zusätzliche Qualifikationen


• Tiefes Verständnis von NGN‑Architekturen, verteilten Systemen und komplexen Integrationen
• Sehr gute analytische und konzeptionelle Fähigkeiten
• Strukturierte, eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise
• Sicheres Auftreten gegenüber technischen und fachlichen Stakeholdern
• Gute Englischkenntnisse für die Zusammenarbeit in internationalen Teams

Preferred technical and professional experience

Testautomatisierungs‑Frameworks: Erfahrung mit Testautomatisierungs‑Frameworks und ‑Plattformen wie IGNITE, einschließlich der Fähigkeit, modellbasierte Testdesign‑Ansätze anzuwenden, um Testergebnisse gezielt zu optimieren.

Advanced‑Analytics‑Tools: Vertrautheit mit dem Einsatz fortgeschrittener Analyse‑Tools zur Beschleunigung geschäftlicher Ergebnisse im Testumfeld, einschließlich der Nutzung von Daten zur Ableitung und Optimierung von Teststrategien.

Quality‑Engineering‑Methoden: Erfahrung mit präventionsorientierten Quality‑Engineering‑Methodiken, einschließlich des Einsatzes kognitiver Tools und Techniken zur Transformation von rein detektionsbasiertem Testen.
