In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

Als Managing SAP Consultant S/4HANA EWM (m/w/d) unterstützt du unsere Kunden bei der Konzeption, Implementierung und Optimierung moderner Extended-Warehouse-Management-Lösungen. Du arbeitest an anspruchsvollen Transformationsprojekten entlang der digitalen Supply Chain und trägst maßgeblich zur Effizienzsteigerung von Lager- und Logistikprozessen bei. Dabei agierst du als vertrauenswürdige:r Berater:in an der Schnittstelle zwischen Business und IT.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Fachliche Leitung bei der Konzeption, Konfiguration und Einführung von SAP EWM in S/4HANA, einschließlich Wareneingang, Warenausgang, interner Lagerprozesse, Inventur und Labor Management
  • Durchführung von Fit-to-Standard-Workshops sowie Analyse und Bewertung von fachlichen Anforderungen im Bereich Lager- und Logistikoperations
  • Erstellung von fachlichen Spezifikationen, Begleitung von Systemerweiterungen sowie Sicherstellung der Integration mit angrenzenden Modulen wie MM, SD, TM und weiteren Supply-Chain-Komponenten
  • Verantwortung für Testzyklen, Defect Management, Datenmigration sowie Cutover- und Go-Live-Aktivitäten
  • Beratung zu Best Practices in Lagerlayout, Prozessoptimierung und Automatisierung (z. B. RF, AMR, Fördertechnik-Anbindung)
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit technischen Teams zur Sicherstellung von Lösungsqualität, Performance und Go-Live-Readiness
  • Coaching und Mentoring von Junior Consultants sowie Beitrag zu Projektplanung, Status-Reporting und Risikomanagement
  • Unterstützung von Continuous-Improvement-Initiativen und Befähigung der Kunden zur Nutzung von Innovationen im SAP S/4HANA EWM Umfeld
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
  • Umfassende Hands-on-Erfahrung in der Konfiguration von SAP EWM (embedded oder dezentral) im S/4HANA‑Umfeld
  • Tiefgehendes Verständnis zentraler Lager- und Logistikprozesse, insbesondere Wareneingang, Warenausgang, Kommissionierstrategien, Verpackung, Bereitstellung, Nachschub sowie Bestandsbewegungen
  • Nachgewiesene Erfahrung in der Integration von SAP EWM mit MM, SD, TM sowie angrenzenden End‑to‑End‑Supply‑Chain‑Prozessen
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse im RF‑Framework, in Lagerautomatisierungslösungen sowie in der Anbindung von Materialflusssystemen (MFS)
  • Erfahrung in der Durchführung von Fit‑to‑Standard‑Workshops sowie im Design und in der Definition von zielgerichteten Lösungs- und Integrationsarchitekturen
  • Fähigkeit zur Erstellung fachlicher Spezifikationen, zur Steuerung von Testaktivitäten sowie zur Begleitung von Deployments und Go‑Live‑Phasen
  • Mitarbeit in S/4HANA‑Transformationsprogrammen, idealerweise mit Verantwortung in mindestens einem vollständigen Projektzyklus (End‑to‑End)
  • Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (C1-Level) und gute Englischkenntnisse (B2-Level)
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Kenntnisse in der Integration von EWM und Transportation Management (TM), insbesondere im Bereich Transportplanung
  • Erfahrung mit Lagerrobotik, AMRs oder IoT‑gestützter Automatisierung im Logistikumfeld
  • Vertrautheit mit SAP BTP, Erweiterungskonzepten und Cloud‑basierter Integration
  • Kenntnisse in Chargenmanagement, Qualitätsintegration (QM) und Serialisierung
  • SAP EWM‑ oder SAP S/4HANA‑Zertifizierungen
