In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As an Application Developer specializing in Microsoft Middleware, you will design, develop, and assemble middleware components that meet IT requirements. Your deliverables will include functional and technical designs, models, code, unit tests, and documentation. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design Middleware Components: Design and develop middleware components that meet IT requirements, utilizing knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and IBM Cloud, as well as integration with enterprise components such as Microsoft Dynamics, BizTalk, and SAP. • Develop Functional and Technical Designs: Create functional and technical designs, models, and documentation for middleware components, following a proven application development process. • Implement Code and Unit Tests: Write code and develop unit tests for middleware components, adhering to Continuous Development and Deployment Frameworks using Microsoft DevOps tools and Agile delivery methods. • Utilize Middleware Tools and Programming Languages: Apply proficiency in using Middleware tools and programming languages to develop and assemble middleware components. • Deliver Documentation: Provide thorough documentation for middleware components, ensuring that solutions meet business requirements and deliver value to the organization.
• Exposure to Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and IBM Cloud, including integration with enterprise components such as Microsoft Dynamics, BizTalk, and SAP. • Proficiency in Middleware Tools: Experience working with Middleware tools and programming languages, with the ability to apply this knowledge in developing and assembling middleware components. • Understanding of Application Development Process: Exposure to a proven application development process, with the ability to create functional and technical designs, models, and documentation for middleware components. • Experience with Microsoft DevOps Tools: Familiarity with Microsoft DevOps tools and Agile delivery methods, with the ability to adhere to Continuous Development and Deployment Frameworks. • Hands-on Experience with Microsoft Middleware: Direct experience working with Microsoft Middleware technologies, with an understanding of the business value of the solutions developed.
• Proficiency in SAP Integration: Experience working with SAP integrations, including knowledge of SAP interfaces and data exchange formats, is beneficial for this role. • Knowledge of IBM Cloud: Familiarity with IBM Cloud, including its services and features, is advantageous for designing and developing middleware components. • Exposure to BizTalk: Understanding of BizTalk Server, including its architecture and messaging patterns, is desirable for integrating with enterprise components.
