In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As an Application Architect specializing in SAP Application Development and Maintenance (ADM), you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining SAP applications aligned with business requirements and IT strategies. This position demands a deep understanding of SAP technology, industry trends, and business processes, as well as the ability to collaborate closely with stakeholders. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design and Develop SAP Applications: Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications to meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with IT strategies and industry trends. This involves leveraging your deep understanding of SAP technology and business processes to create effective solutions. • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, design solutions, and ensure the successful implementation of SAP applications. This requires strong communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Ensure Business Alignment: Ensure that SAP applications are aligned with business requirements and IT strategies, requiring a deep understanding of both business processes and SAP technology. • Maintain SAP Applications: Maintain existing SAP applications, ensuring they continue to meet business requirements and remain aligned with IT strategies. • Implement Solutions: Ensure the successful implementation of SAP applications, collaborating with stakeholders and leveraging your knowledge of SAP technology and business processes.

• SAP Technology Expertise: Experience with SAP technology, including application development and maintenance, to design, develop, and maintain SAP applications that meet business requirements and align with IT strategies. • Business Process Understanding: Experience in understanding business processes and industry trends to ensure SAP applications are aligned with business requirements and IT strategies. • Solution Design and Implementation: Experience with designing and implementing SAP solutions, including collaborating with stakeholders to identify business needs and ensure successful implementation. • Technical Solution Development: Experience in developing technical solutions that meet business requirements, leveraging knowledge of SAP technology and business processes. • Industry Trend Awareness: Experience with staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments in SAP technology to ensure SAP applications remain current and effective.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• SAP Industry Trends Knowledge: Experience with staying current on industry trends and developments in SAP technology, ensuring SAP applications remain effective and aligned with business requirements. This includes awareness of emerging technologies and innovations in SAP. • Advanced SAP Solution Design: Experience in designing and implementing complex SAP solutions, leveraging knowledge of SAP technology and business processes to meet business requirements and ensure successful implementation. • Business Process Optimization: Experience in analyzing and optimizing business processes to ensure SAP applications are aligned with business requirements and IT strategies, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
