In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As a Project Manager in Application Operations, you will oversee the end-to-end implementation of security frameworks and DevOps platforms, ensuring smooth operations and incident management. You will lead the transition from build to run and operate phases, driving productivity improvements through automation and new technologies. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Manage Implementation of Security Frameworks: Oversee the build and support of middleware components, reviewing and implementing monitoring requirements to ensure seamless operations. • Lead Transition and Operations: Manage the transition from build to run and operate phases, ensuring smooth operations and incident management, and providing strong leadership in incident, problem, and change management. • Track Project Scope and Progress: Determine and track scope, milestones, tasks, risks, assumptions, objectives, and dependencies relating to projects, creating a governance to report progress. • Foster Stakeholder Relationships: Proactively build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to identify opportunities to add value and engage team members as needed. • Drive Productivity Improvements: Constantly seek areas for implementing automation and new technologies to bring in productivity improvements.
• Managing Security Frameworks Implementation: Experience with overseeing the end-to-end implementation of security frameworks and DevOps platforms, including building and supporting middleware components. • Leading Transition and Operations: Experience in managing the transition from build to run and operate phases, ensuring smooth operations and incident management, with a strong focus on incident, problem, and change management. • Project Governance and Tracking: Experience with determining and tracking scope, milestones, tasks, risks, assumptions, objectives, and dependencies relating to projects, and creating governance to report progress. • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Experience in proactively building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to identify opportunities to add value and engage team members as needed. • Automation and Productivity Improvement: Experience in identifying areas for implementing automation and new technologies to drive productivity improvements.
• Automation Technologies Knowledge: Experience with implementing automation and new technologies to drive productivity improvements, leveraging expertise in DevOps platforms and security frameworks to optimize operations. • Advanced Project Governance: Experience in creating governance to report progress, tracking scope, milestones, tasks, risks, assumptions, objectives, and dependencies relating to projects, ensuring seamless operations and incident management. • IT Service Management: Experience with incident, problem, and change management during the run and operate phase, providing strong leadership in managing the transition from build to run and operate phases.
