In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As a Package Specialist for SAP SCM PP, you will design, implement, and maintain the Production Planning (PP) module within SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) to optimize production planning, scheduling, and control processes. This role requires strong collaboration with business stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Design and Configure PP Processes: Design and configure PP processes, including production planning, scheduling, and control, to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
• Develop and Maintain Customizations: Develop and maintain PP customizations, interfaces, and reports to meet business needs and optimize production planning and scheduling processes.
• Test and Troubleshoot Issues: Test and troubleshoot PP issues, identifying and resolving errors and inconsistencies to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Analyze and Optimize Processes: Analyze and optimize production planning and scheduling processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to ensure alignment with other SAP modules.
• Provide Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on PP functionality and best practices to ensure effective use of the system.
• SAP PP Configuration Expertise: Experience with designing and configuring Production Planning (PP) processes, including production planning, scheduling, and control, within SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM).
• SAP Customization and Development: Experience with developing and maintaining PP customizations, interfaces, and reports to meet business needs and optimize production planning and scheduling processes.
• SAP Integration Knowledge: Experience with ensuring seamless integration of PP with other SAP modules and third-party systems. • Production Planning Best Practices: Experience with production planning best practices to analyze and optimize production planning and scheduling processes.
• SAP Troubleshooting Skills: Experience with testing and troubleshooting PP issues, identifying and resolving errors and inconsistencies to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• SAP MM Integration Knowledge: Experience with integrating Production Planning (PP) with Materials Management (MM) module within SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) to ensure seamless data flow and accurate inventory management.
• SAP QM and PM Knowledge: Experience with integrating PP with Quality Management (QM) and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules to ensure compliance with quality standards and effective maintenance planning.
• Advanced SAP Reporting: Experience with developing advanced reports in SAP to provide insights into production planning and scheduling processes, enabling data-driven decision-making.
