In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As an Integration Architect specializing in Hybrid Integration, you will design and build individual business functions and processes by breaking down everyday business applications. You will deploy and integrate these new functions and processes to enable independent applications to communicate with each other. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design Business Functions: Design individual business functions and processes from everyday business applications, allowing them to run independently of the applications and computing platforms on which they operate. • Build and Deploy: Build and deploy new functions and processes using software that enables communication between independent applications, utilizing a collection of standards and specifications. • Integrate Web Services: Integrate web services to define a particular web service application in SOA and Enterprise Integration, using protocols to describe operations to execute or data to exchange with other web services. • Develop Interaction: Develop interaction between web services to enable them to work together seamlessly, defining a particular web service application in SOA and Enterprise Integration.

• Business Function Design Experience: Experience with designing individual business functions and processes from everyday business applications, enabling them to run independently of the applications and computing platforms on which they operate. • Software Development and Deployment: Experience in building and deploying new functions and processes using software that enables communication between independent applications, utilizing a collection of standards and specifications. • Web Services Integration: Experience with integrating web services to define a particular web service application in SOA and Enterprise Integration, using protocols to describe operations to execute or data to exchange with other web services. • Interaction Development: Experience in developing interaction between web services to enable them to work together seamlessly, defining a particular web service application in SOA and Enterprise Integration. • Enterprise Integration Standards: Experience with utilizing a collection of standards and specifications to enable communication between independent applications in an Enterprise Integration setting.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• SOA Design Knowledge: Experience with designing Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) to enable communication between independent applications, utilizing a collection of standards and specifications. • Enterprise Integration Patterns: Experience with applying Enterprise Integration patterns to define interactions between web services, enabling seamless communication and data exchange. • Web Services Protocols: Experience with utilizing protocols to describe operations to execute or data to exchange with other web services in an Enterprise Integration setting.
