Your role and responsibilities
As a Data Engineer Intern, you will:
  • Assist in designing, developing, and supporting data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
  • Work with structured and semi‑structured data from databases, files, and APIs
  • Support data quality, validation, and monitoring efforts
  • Help troubleshoot and optimize existing data workflows
  • Collaborate with Data Squad engineers, analysts, and business partners
  • Document technical processes, data flows, and best practices
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and team learning sessions

Required technical and professional expertise
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
Foundational programming skills in Python, SQL, or similar languages
Basic understanding of databases and data concepts
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • High English level (B2-C1)
  • Ability to work full-time for 6 to 12 months
  • Eagerness to learn and collaborate in a team environment
Preferred technical and professional experience
Coursework or academic projects related to data engineering, databases, or analytics
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as IBM Cloud, Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL processes, or orchestration concepts
  • Experience using Git or other version control tools
  • Internship, research, or personal projects involving data
