Your role and responsibilities

The Package Specialist – Payroll ECP is responsible for the configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll solutions. This role provides deep expertise across payroll configuration, payroll schemas, integrations, and replication processes to ensure system stability and operational excellence.

  • Configure and maintain SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) components including payroll schemas, rules, and wage types.
  • Provide technical and functional expertise across payroll processing, payroll configuration, and payroll integrations.
  • Support EC-to-ECP replication analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of payroll replication issues.
  • Investigate payroll system errors, logs, and configuration issues to identify root causes.
  • Support payroll processing cycles including simulations, payroll runs, off-cycle runs, and posting to finance.
  • Develop and maintain payroll configuration documentation and technical design specifications.
  • Support HRSP upgrades, payroll support packs, and SAP payroll notes implementation.
  • Collaborate with integration teams on payroll interfaces with HR, benefits, and finance systems.
  • Support system testing activities including SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
  • Provide subject matter expertise during payroll implementations, upgrades, and country rollouts.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, HRIS, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience with SAP Payroll or SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll.
  • ECP SF certification is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll schemas, rules, wage types, and payroll configuration.
  • Experience troubleshooting payroll processing errors and replication issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Experience supporting global payroll environments.
  • Familiarity with EC-ECP replication frameworks, payroll integrations, and payroll posting processes.
  • Experience supporting HRSP upgrades and SAP payroll note implementations.
