Public sector workforce transformation is no longer just about implementing new systems. It is about helping government organizations redesign how work gets done in an era shaped by AI, workforce disruption, rising service expectations, and increasing pressure to do more with less.
At IBM, we help State and Local Government clients modernize the workforce foundations that support mission delivery — from HR operating models and business processes to HR Business Applications, employee experience, service delivery, and skills transformation.
As a Senior Managing Consultant, you will work at the intersection of strategy, workforce transformation, organizational change, and modern HR technology. You will help public sector clients solve complex workforce challenges while ensuring transformation is practical, trusted, and built to last.
You will also bring IBM’s Client Zero experience into this work — applying lessons from IBM’s own workforce and HR transformation journey, including the use of AI, automation, digital assistants, and new ways of working, to help clients modernize with greater confidence and credibility.
