Your role and responsibilities

Delivery Manager, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 40% telecommuting permitted):

  • Lead delivery management for projects of varying sizes and complexities, providing strategic direction and cross-functional leadership.
  • Oversee client engagements by supporting project managers, developing Statements of Work (SoWs), reviewing internal submissions, identifying talent, and guiding technical execution from initiation to closure.
  • Serve as team lead - train, coach, and mentor junior team members while managing recruitment, onboarding, and employee development processes.
  • Conduct performance reviews, define development plans and objectives, and manage administrative tasks including time sheets and compensation processes.
  • Lead proposal development, participate in RFP processes, and collaborate with Sales, Pre-Sales, Product Management, and R&D to define solutions and architecture roadmaps.
  • Support business development by positioning solutions, defining scope and estimates, and contributing to sales efforts.
  • Identify new product and service opportunities within customer organizations through regular engagement and collaboration with Sales teams.
  • Design and implement innovative solutions that optimize business processes and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert across multiple integration and process automation domains, offering deep technical insight and guidance to support complex enterprise solutions.
  • Utilize: Middleware Integration using webMethods Integration, B2B (Business to Business) Integration using webMethods Trading Networks, API Management using webMethods API Gateway, webMethods MFT, webMethods Messaging (Broker and Universal Messaging), webMethods.io.

Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Practice Leader, Delivery Manager, Senior Consultant or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Middleware Integration using webMethods Integration, B2B (Business to Business) Integration using webMethods Trading Networks, API Management using webMethods API Gateway, webMethods MFT, webMethods Messaging (Broker and Universal Messaging), webMethods.io. $251470 to $301000 per year. Leaders are expected to spend time with their teams and clients and therefore are generally expected to be in the workplace a minimum of three days a week, subject to business needs.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
