Your role and responsibilities

As an Application Consultant specializing in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), you will utilize your expertise in developing message flows using various ESB tools and technologies. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of web services, software development lifecycle, and relational databases to deliver integration solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Develop Message Flows: Design, develop, and test message flows using ESB tools and technologies such as IBM IIB, Software AG, WebSphere DataPower, SI, Tibco, and Mule, ensuring seamless integration of disparate systems.

• Analyze Problems and Requirements: Perform problem analysis, requirement analysis, and create high-level and low-level designs for integration solutions, aligning with client needs and industry best practices.

• Implement Web Services: Apply knowledge of web services, including SOAP and HTTP protocols, SSL/TLS encryption, and decryption, to ensure secure and efficient data exchange between systems.

• Manage Integration Environment: Configure and maintain the integration environment, ensuring smooth operation and troubleshooting issues as needed.

• Collaborate on Solution Delivery: Work with cross-functional teams to deliver integration solutions, providing technical expertise and ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.

Required technical and professional expertise

• ESB Tools and Technologies: Exposure to developing message flows using various ESB tools and technologies, such as IBM IIB, Software AG, WebSphere DataPower, SI, Tibco, and Mule.

• Web Services Knowledge: Exposure to web services, including SOAP and HTTP protocols, SSL/TLS encryption, and decryption, with understanding of secure and efficient data exchange between systems.

• Software Development Lifecycle: Experience working with the entire software development lifecycle, including problem analysis, requirement analysis, high-level and low-level design, development, testing, documentation, and production support.

• Relational Database Foundation: Exposure to relational databases like IBM DB2 and Oracle, with understanding of database concepts and operations.

• Integration Environment Configuration: Experience working with configuration and maintenance of the integration environment, ensuring smooth operation and troubleshooting issues as needed.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Advanced ESB Tool Knowledge: Exposure to multiple ESB tools and technologies beyond the required list, such as JBoss Fuse or Talend, with ability to adapt and learn new tools quickly.

• Web Services Security Expertise: Experience working with advanced web services security protocols, including WS-Security and SAML, to ensure secure data exchange between systems.

• Database Performance Tuning: Exposure to optimizing relational database performance, including indexing, caching, and query optimization, to improve integration solution efficiency.
