Your role and responsibilities

As a Package Specialist: SAP SCM MM, you will design, implement, and maintain the Materials Management (MM) module within SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) to optimize procurement, inventory, and logistics operations. This role requires strong knowledge of SAP MM, SAP SCM, and procurement best practices to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design and Configure MM Processes: Design and configure MM processes, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics, to meet business needs and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules. • Develop and Maintain Customizations: Develop and maintain MM customizations, interfaces, and reports to support business requirements and optimize procurement, inventory, and logistics operations. • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs, ensuring alignment with other SAP modules and third-party systems. • Test and Troubleshoot Issues: Test and troubleshoot MM issues, identifying and resolving errors and inconsistencies to ensure data integrity and accuracy. • Analyze and Optimize Operations: Analyze and optimize procurement, inventory, and logistics operations, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to optimize business processes.

Required education

Required technical and professional expertise

• Experience with SAP MM Configuration: Exposure to designing and configuring MM processes, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics, within SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM). • SAP Customization and Development: Experience with developing and maintaining MM customizations, interfaces, and reports to support business requirements and optimize procurement, inventory, and logistics operations. • Procurement Best Practices: Exposure to procurement best practices and experience with analyzing and optimizing procurement, inventory, and logistics operations to identify opportunities for improvement. • SAP Integration and Testing: Experience with testing and troubleshooting MM issues, identifying and resolving errors and inconsistencies to ensure data integrity and accuracy, and integrating with other SAP modules and third-party systems. • Certification in SAP SCM: Certification in SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) or related field, with a focus on Materials Management (MM) module.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• SAP SCM Certification: Certification in SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) or related field, with a focus on Materials Management (MM) module, is beneficial for this role. • Advanced SAP MM Knowledge: Exposure to advanced SAP MM concepts, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics, is preferred. • Procurement Process Optimization: Experience with analyzing and optimizing procurement processes to identify opportunities for improvement is desirable.
