Your role and responsibilities

As a Customer Success Engineer- IT Automation products within IBM's Automation Platform, you will act as a technical consultant to IBM clients and sellers by architecting solutions and delivering Proofs of Technology. You will utilize your technical expertise to drive business growth and deliver value to clients through innovative solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Architect Solutions: Design and develop tailored solutions for clients using IT Automation and FinOps products, including Cloudability, Kubecost, Apptio, and other related technologies.

• Deliver Proofs of Technology: Collaborate with clients and sellers to deliver Proofs of Technology, showcasing the capabilities and benefits of IT Automation and FinOps products.

• Provide Technical Expertise: Offer technical guidance and support to clients and sellers on IT Automation and FinOps products, helping them to understand and implement solutions effectively.

• Develop Solution Delivery Methodologies: Establish and refine methodologies for delivering IT Automation and FinOps solutions, ensuring consistency and quality across client engagements. (Opinionated POVs, RFP Responses, CXO Mindshare, Social mindshare pivoted on tech, Design-to-win POC/Pilots/Demos & Establishing Tech-Win)

• IT Automation Product Knowledge: Experience with IT Automation products, including Observability, Cloudability, Kubecost, Apptio, and other related technologies, with the ability to design and develop tailored solutions for clients.

• Technical Expertise: Cloud Pak for AIOps, Concert, Flexera One with IBM Observability, IBM FinOps, Instana, IT Automation Heritage, Operations Insights, Turbonomic, and Workload Automation, with the ability to provide technical guidance and support to clients and sellers.

• Solution Architecture: Experience in architecting solutions using IT Automation and FinOps products, with the ability to develop and refine methodologies for delivering consistent and high-quality solutions.

• Technical Consulting: Experience in providing technical consulting services to clients and sellers, with the ability to drive business growth and deliver value through innovative solutions.

• Proof of Technology Delivery: Experience in delivering Proofs of Technology, showcasing the capabilities and benefits of IT Automation and FinOps products to clients and sellers.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• IT Service Management Knowledge: Experience with IT service management principles and practices, including ITIL, is beneficial for designing and delivering effective IT Automation and FinOps solutions.

• Cloud Computing Expertise: Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, can be advantageous in architecting and delivering IT Automation and FinOps solutions.

• Scripting and Programming Skills: Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash, and programming languages, such as Java or C++, can be useful in developing and implementing IT Automation and FinOps solutions.
