Your role and responsibilities

As a Delivery Consultant specializing in Payment settlement systems for Banking within IBM's Automation Platform, you will provide clients with world-class services to optimize the configuration, deployment, adoption, usage, and analysis of their Payment settlement system based on IBM's Financial Transaction Manager. This role involves delivering expert consulting services to help clients achieve their business objectives through effective use of IBM's Financial Transaction Manager (FTM).

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Deliver Expert Consulting Services: Provide world-class consulting services to clients, helping them optimize their payment settlement product configurations, deployments, adoptions, usage, and analysis to achieve business objectives.

• Optimize Client Solutions: Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions using FTM, including Cloudability, Kubecost, Apptio, and other related technologies.

• Drive Solution Adoption: Drive the adoption and usage of FTM, ensuring clients achieve maximum value from their investments and meet their business objectives.

• Analyze Client Environments: Analyze client environments to identify opportunities for optimization and provide recommendations for improvement, leveraging expertise in Payment Settlement systems leveraging IBM's FTM.

This role performs direct customer services in support of SOA-based and cloud-based Payments Integration systems. The duties of this role will include design and implementa-tion of solutions based on customer requirements relating to Payments processing using products in the IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) family.

The candidate should have strong experience in designing, implementing, and integrat-ing, applications for financial messaging ideally based on IBM's FTM product family. Ex-perience with an EAI, Message Hub, SOA and/or Microservices environment is also bene-ficial. The candidate should have 5+ years’ experience in one of these areas.

The candidate should be skilled with IBM App Connect Enterprise Services and Liberty and be fluent in Java development and Financial Messaging.

The candidate should have at least 5+ years of experience in DevOps pipeline develop-ment in legacy WebSphere environments and private or public cloud environments.

The candidate should have multiple years of experience in development and deploying of containerized, cloud-based, applications in private or public cloud environments, experi-ence with OpenShift is desired.

The candidate may also be required to participate in pre-sales activities for current and potential IBM Customers and help cultivate the trusted partnership that IBM seeks with all Customers.

Beneficial Requirements

• 5+ years of payment (US Check, Canadian Cheque, US ACH, CPA Standard 05, TCH-IP, Zelle, FedWire, SWIFT, CBPR+, etc) processing development and sup-port experience.

• 5+ years of payment processing operations experience.

• Working knowledge of legacy check processing applications, including IBM Pay-ments Director, IBM Check Processing Control System (CPCS), and SuperMICR or other image-based check processing applications

Preferred technical and professional experience

• IT Service Management Knowledge: Familiarity with IT service management principles and practices, including ITIL, to support the delivery of high-quality services to clients.

• Cloud Computing Expertise: Experience with cloud computing platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, to support the deployment and management of IT Automation & FinOps products.

• Scripting and Automation Skills: Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash, to automate tasks and workflows, and integrate IT Automation & FinOps products with other systems.
