Your role and responsibilities

As a Project Manager for Complex Projects, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of IBM's largest and most complex client commitments, ensuring the delivery of solutions for complex IT, business, and client requirements. You will lead a project team in delivering a solution to the client using the appropriate business measurements and terms and conditions for the project. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Manage Client Engagements: Lead a project team in delivering a solution to the client, ensuring overall performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables.
• Develop Project Plans: Apply techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management to ensure successful project delivery.
• Lead Project Resources: Manage all project resources, including subcontractors, and establish an effective communication plan with the project team and the client.
• Provide Project Status: Deliver day-to-day direction to the project team and regular project status to the client.
• Apply Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with complex delivery, applying risk management skills to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Complex IT Project Delivery: Experience with managing large-scale, complex IT projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of solutions that meet client requirements.
• Strategic Risk Management: Experience in applying risk management skills to identify and mitigate risks associated with complex delivery, ensuring successful project outcomes.
• Contract Management: Experience with managing complex business outsourcing contracts, including negotiating terms and conditions, and ensuring compliance with contractual deliverables.
• Team Leadership: Experience in leading high-performing project teams, including providing day-to-day direction and establishing effective communication plans with team members and clients.
• Business Insight and Acumen: Experience in analyzing business and IT challenges, applying strategic innovative thinking, and advising on large or complex engagements.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Deal Making Techniques: Experience with applying deal making techniques to complex opportunities, including developing and leading large/complex deals/bids. This involves analyzing client needs, identifying opportunities, and creating customized solutions that drive business value.
• Strategic Innovative Thinking: Experience in applying strategic innovative thinking for insights, analyzing business and IT challenges, and advising on large or complex engagements. This includes identifying areas for improvement and developing creative solutions that drive business results.
• Large-Scale Program Management: Experience with managing large-scale programs with complex combinations of technical, business, financial, and human resources issues. This involves leading cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring successful program delivery.

For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
