Your role and responsibilities

As a Delivery Consultant specializing in Asset Lifecycle Management within IBM's Automation Platform, you will provide world-class services for clients implementing Asset Lifecycle Management solutions. Your expertise will help clients achieve their goals using solutions such as Maximo and TRIRIGA. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Solution Delivery: Manage and deliver Asset Lifecycle Management solutions to clients, ensuring high-quality results and meeting project objectives.
  • Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their Asset Lifecycle Management requirements.
  • Implement Methodologies: Apply industry-leading methodologies to design and implement effective Asset Lifecycle Management solutions.
  • Develop Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients, providing guidance and support throughout the solution delivery process.
  • Optimize Solution Outcomes: Continuously monitor and optimize solution outcomes to ensure clients achieve their desired results.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Delivery Solution Consultant / Architect with deep expertise in IBM Maximo for complex enterprise-level projects. This role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on leader who can design, implement, and optimize Maximo solutions across on-premise and SaaS environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in solutioning, deployment, upgrades, migrations (including on-premise to SaaS), troubleshooting, and database re-platforming.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Architecture & Design
    • Define and document end-to-end Maximo solution architectures for enterprise clients.
    • Align technical solutions with business objectives, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Project Delivery
    • Lead delivery of complex Maximo implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
    • Oversee deployment strategies for both on-premise and SaaS environments.
  • Migration Expertise
    • Design and execute migration plans from on-premise to SaaS, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
    • Develop strategies for legacy system integration and phased transitions.
  • Database Re-Platforming
    • Lead database re-platforming initiatives, including assessment, planning, and execution.
    • Utilize industry-standard tools and processes for database migration and optimization.
  • Troubleshooting & Optimization
    • Provide advanced troubleshooting for performance, configuration, and integration issues.
    • Optimize Maximo environments for scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure successful outcomes.
    • Act as a trusted advisor for clients on Maximo best practices and roadmap planning.
  • Governance & Compliance
    • Ensure adherence to security, regulatory, and data governance standards throughout project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

  • Clearance
    • Active TS / SCI Full Scope Polygraph
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of experience in IBM Maximo solution architecture and delivery.
    • Proven track record in enterprise-level deployments, upgrades, migrations, and database re-platforming.
    • Hands-on experience with Maximo SaaS and on-premise environments.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in Maximo configuration, integration, and performance tuning.
    • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, SaaS models, and hybrid environments.
    • Proficiency in database re-platforming tools and processes (e.g., Oracle to PostgreSQL, DB2 migrations).
    • Familiarity with middleware, APIs, and data migration tools.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
    • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex delivery environments.
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • IBM Maximo certifications (e.g., Maximo Application Suite).
  • Experience with industry-specific Maximo implementations (Utilities, Manufacturing, Transportation, etc.).
  • Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
