In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As an Application Architect specializing in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), you will design and develop AEM-based solutions, leveraging your deep understanding of AEM's capabilities to build websites, mobile applications, digital forms, and user interfaces. You will play a crucial role in translating business requirements into technology solutions throughout the project lifecycle. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design AEM Solutions: Design and develop AEM-based solutions like Sites, DAM, Forms, Guides, Franklin/Edge, and AEM-DevOps, utilizing your expertise in building websites, mobile applications, digital forms, and user interfaces. • Conduct Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct unit and integration testing, and address any troubleshooting needs that may arise during the project lifecycle. • Translate Business Requirements: Translate business requirements into technology solutions, ensuring successful implementation and integration of AEM solutions into various business environments. • Develop Digital Experience Platforms: Apply your knowledge of web development principles and experience with content management systems to develop digital experience platforms. • Ensure Solution Delivery: Ensure the successful delivery of AEM solutions, meeting business requirements and stakeholder expectations.

• AEM Solution Development: Exposure to designing and developing AEM-based solutions, including Sites, DAM, Forms, Guides, Franklin/Edge, and AEM-DevOps. • Web Development Principles: Experience working with web development principles, including building websites, mobile applications, digital forms, and user interfaces. • Content Management Systems: Exposure to content management systems and digital experience platforms, with a focus on AEM capabilities. • Unit and Integration Testing: Experience with conducting unit and integration testing, as well as addressing troubleshooting needs. • Technology Solution Implementation: Exposure to translating business requirements into technology solutions, ensuring successful implementation and integration of AEM solutions.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Digital Experience Platforms: Experience working with digital experience platforms, with a focus on AEM capabilities, is beneficial for this role. Knowledge of content management systems and web development principles can aid in developing digital experience platforms. Familiarity with AEM's capabilities in building websites, mobile applications, digital forms, and user interfaces is also advantageous. • Advanced Web Development: Exposure to advanced web development principles, including building complex websites, mobile applications, and digital forms, can enhance the Application Architect's ability to design and develop AEM-based solutions. Understanding of web development best practices and trends can also contribute to successful solution delivery.
