In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As an Application Developer specializing in Salesforce, you will configure and administer the Salesforce platform, leveraging your expertise to ensure seamless workflow and integration with enterprise applications. Your proficiency in Salesforce development and maintenance will enable you to handle various aspects of the platform. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Configure and Administer Salesforce: Configure and administer the Salesforce platform to meet business requirements, utilizing expertise in Salesforce.com development and maintenance to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

• Write Apex Code and Create Visual Force Pages: Write Apex code and create Visual Force pages to customize and enhance the Salesforce platform, applying knowledge of CRM principles and proficiency in LWC.

• Utilize Development Tools: Utilize the Eclipse/Force.com IDE and the Data Loader Tool to develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions, ensuring high-quality results.

• Integrate with Enterprise Applications: Integrate Salesforce with enterprise applications, applying experience in handling various aspects of Salesforce.com development and maintenance to ensure seamless integration.

A Salesforce Developer must have skills and experience with:

• Salesforce Platform Configuration: Exposure to configuring and administering the Salesforce platform to meet business requirements, utilizing expertise in Salesforce.com development and maintenance.

• Apex Code Development: Exposure to writing Apex code and creating Visual Force pages to customize and enhance the Salesforce platform, applying knowledge of CRM principles and proficiency in LWC.

• Development Tool Utilization: Exposure to utilizing the Eclipse/Force.com IDE and the Data Loader Tool to develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions, ensuring high-quality results.

• Enterprise Application Integration: Exposure to integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications, applying experience in handling various aspects of Salesforce.com development and maintenance to ensure seamless integration.

• CRM Principles Application: Exposure to applying CRM principles to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow, and experience in using LWC to enhance the Salesforce platform.
