In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Cloud Security Consultant, you will help client IT and business executives understand and strategize security across hybrid and multi-cloud platforms. You will design and implement associated security services across various domains, including risk and compliance, application, data, endpoint, and network. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Define Business Drivers: Identify and articulate business needs and objectives to inform cloud security strategies and solutions, ensuring alignment with client goals and priorities. • Design Security Services: Develop and implement comprehensive security services across multiple domains, addressing native and non-native security concerns in cloud environments. • Implement Security Solutions: Apply technical expertise to deliver cloud security solutions, collaborating with clients to address their unique security challenges and requirements. • Provide Security Guidance: Offer expert guidance on cloud security best practices, risk management, and compliance to help clients make informed decisions about their cloud security posture.

• Cloud Security Strategy Development: Exposure to defining business drivers and designing associated security services across domains such as risk and compliance, application, data, endpoint, and network. • Multi-Cloud Security Implementation: Experience working with hybrid and multi-cloud platforms to implement comprehensive security services, addressing native and non-native security concerns. • Domain-Specific Security Expertise: Exposure to developing and implementing security services across various domains, including risk and compliance, application, data, endpoint, and network. • Technical Solution Delivery: Experience applying technical expertise to deliver cloud security solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to address unique security challenges and requirements. • Cloud Security Best Practices: Exposure to providing expert guidance on cloud security best practices, risk management, and compliance to inform decision-making.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Cloud Security Architecture Knowledge: Exposure to designing and implementing comprehensive security services across multiple domains, including risk and compliance, application, data, endpoint, and network, in hybrid and multi-cloud platforms. • Advanced Threat Protection: Experience working with cloud security solutions to address native and non-native security concerns, including risk management and compliance. • Cloud Security Frameworks Familiarity: Exposure to cloud security best practices, frameworks, and standards to inform decision-making and guide clients in their cloud security posture.
