In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Salesforce Consultant or Developer at IBM, you will bridge the gap between complex business strategy and high-performance technical execution. You will design, develop, and integrate custom Salesforce solutions using Declarative tools, Apex, LWC, and modern integration patterns to solve the most pressing challenges for global visionaries. Beyond writing clean, scalable code, you will act as a technical advisor—guiding clients from initial discovery and business analysis through to system architecture, Agile development, and successful user adoption. In this role, you are empowered to challenge legacy thinking and leverage IBM’s elite partner ecosystem to build 'groundbreaking' CRM platforms that drive measurable profit and shareholder value. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with Solution Design: Learn to develop tailored solutions to address clients' business needs by understanding their unique challenges and leveraging Salesforce's extensive offerings.
  • Support System Testing: Participate in executing system testing, user acceptance, and change management to ensure a successful implementation and long-term user adoption.
  • Engage in Client-Facing Activities: Observe and learn from interactions with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Explore Methodologies: Familiarize yourself with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies to support a smooth software development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to Training Programs: Assist with developing and delivering training programs to ensure successful user adoption.

Bachelor’s or expected Master's degree (in Mathematics, Computer science, Information Technology, Engineering)

  • Attitude and interest in an IT Engineer/ Specialist / Consultant career
  • Adaptability, Communication, Creative, Problem Solving, Taking Ownership, Teamwork and Collaboration
  • Ability to make decisions, take on responsibilities and have the ability to adapt, change and re-prioritize your plans in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • English is a must
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Business Analysis: Act as a bridge between business objectives and technical execution, translating complex requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Creative Problem Solving: consultant’s mindset to challenge legacy processes and design innovative, data-driven solutions.
  • Integration Knowledge: Exposure to integrating CRM solutions with other systems and applications is beneficial. Familiarity with APIs, data migration, and integration tools can be an asset in this role.
  • Salesforce Features: Interest in exploring advanced Salesforce features, such as Einstein, Agentforce, Salesforce Portals, or Salesforce CPQ, can be advantageous in designing and implementing tailored solutions.
  • DevOps: Additional exposure to development methodologies, such as Kanban or Lean, can help ensure a smooth software development lifecycle.
