Introduction

The Q2C Transaction Lifecycle Specialist is a 2‑year fixed‑term role focused on delivering accurate, timely, and compliant transactional support across the Quote‑to‑Cash (Q2C) cycle, with a strong emphasis on Ecosystem partner operations. This role is integral to enabling smooth execution of Ecosystem programs, supporting partner experience, and maintaining business integrity across assigned territories and business units.

Working across multiple IBM systems, the specialist is responsible for managing end‑to‑end transactional processes, validating data accuracy, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure operational excellence and compliance. Success in this role requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to build effective working relationships with internal teams and Ecosystem partners.

Your role and responsibilities

Ecosystem Transactional & Operational Support

· Manage Ecosystem transactional processes end‑to‑end across multiple IBM systems.

· Ensure business integrity, accuracy, and compliance with IBM’s Firm Order Policy and business control requirements.

· Support contract lifecycle activities, including verification, processing, documentation, and compliance reviews.

· Respond to internal and external requests—including audit‑related inquiries—with accuracy and professionalism.

· Ensure timely resolution of transactional issues impacting Ecosystem partners or program execution.

· Perform data validation to ensure transactional inputs are complete, compliant, and error‑free.

· Utilize reporting tools and data sources to create or customize reports that support operational reviews and decision‑making.

Stakeholder & Ecosystem Collaboration

· Build effective working relationships with internal teams, Ecosystem partners, and regional stakeholders.

  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve transactional, contractual, or operational issues impacting the Ecosystem.
  • Engage proactively with key Ecosystem partners to support program execution and maintain operational alignment.

Operational Governance & Excellence

· Maintain strict adherence to compliance, audit, and governance standards across all Ecosystem and Q2C transactions.

  • Contribute to team and organizational KPIs through strong operational discipline and customer‑centric delivery.
  • Apply problem‑solving skills to analyze routine business issues, recommend solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise

Technical & Functional Skills

· Experience in transactional operations, order management, or administrative support within a complex business environment.

· Familiarity with Ecosystem operations, partner management processes, or Q2C/Order‑to‑Cash workflows.

· Ability to work across multiple systems with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.

· Competence in intermediate data analysis, including the use of reporting and visualization tools.

· Ability to adopt and apply AI tools to enhance data processing and operational efficiency.

Preferred technical and professional experience

· Prior experience in Ecosystem partner operations, sales operations, Q2C, or contract/transaction support.

· Knowledge of IBM systems, tools, and standard business processes.

· Experience working with regional or multi‑country teams (APAC/JP preferred).

· Exposure to audit, compliance, or business control processes.

· Advanced skills in reporting, data analytics, or AI‑assisted operational tools.
