In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As a Project Manager for SAP Application Development and Maintenance (ADM), you will lead projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring successful delivery of SAP solutions that meet business objectives. You will manage cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Manage SAP ADM Projects: Develop and execute project plans, resource allocation, and budget management to ensure successful delivery of SAP solutions. This includes leading and coordinating cross-functional teams, including SAP developers, quality assurance, and business stakeholders. • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Gather requirements, identify project scope, and define project deliverables to ensure SAP solutions meet business objectives and customer needs. • Ensure Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and deadlines, and identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure quality assurance and testing of SAP solutions. • Manage Vendor Relationships: Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure successful delivery of SAP solutions. • Communicate Project Progress: Communicate project progress, issues, and changes to stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment with business strategies and objectives.
SAP Project Management Experience: Experience with managing SAP Application Development and Maintenance (ADM) projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring successful delivery of SAP solutions that meet business objectives.
Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Experience in leading and coordinating cross-functional teams, including SAP developers, quality assurance, and business stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
SAP Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAP products and experience in managing ADM projects for SAP systems.
Project Planning and Execution: Experience with developing and executing project plans, resource allocation, and budget management to ensure successful delivery of SAP solutions.
Quality Assurance and Risk Management: Experience with identifying and mitigating project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure quality assurance and testing of SAP solutions.
Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience.
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations and implementations.
SAP Implementation Knowledge: Experience with SAP implementation methodologies and best practices, including ASAP and Agile. Familiarity with SAP solution manager and other SAP tools.
IT Service Management: Experience with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL, and their application in SAP environments.
Project Management Certifications: Certification in project management methodologies, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile, and their application in SAP project management.
