Your role and responsibilities

As a Business Transformation Consultant specializing in Data Platforms, you will plan, design, manage, and implement core components of Watson Service Offerings and Digital Insights Platforms, as well as other similar non-IBM solutions. This role involves creating solutions that deliver significant and lasting business improvements for clients. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design Solution Architecture: Provide expert architecture, design, and implementation support for solutions in virtualized and cloud-based environments, including both hosted and on-premise solutions. • Implement Data Platforms: Manage and implement core components of Watson Service Offerings and Digital Insights Platforms to deliver business improvements for clients. • Support Sales and Delivery: Define solutions and present a point of view for these offerings' services to clients, supporting Sales and Delivery teams. • Develop Client Solutions: Create solutions that deliver significant and lasting business improvements for clients, leveraging expertise in data lake, design, and implementation. • Lead Solution Delivery: Lead the delivery of solutions, ensuring successful implementation and deployment of data platforms for clients.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Data Platform Architecture: Experience with designing and implementing core components of data platforms, including data lakes, in virtualized and cloud-based environments. • Cloud-Based Solutions: Experience in managing and implementing solutions in cloud-based environments, including both hosted and on-premise solutions. • Watson Service Offerings: Experience with implementing and managing core components of Watson Service Offerings and Digital Insights Platforms. • Solution Design and Implementation: Experience in providing expert architecture, design, and implementation support for solutions that deliver significant and lasting business improvements for clients. • Virtualization and Cloud: Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies, including designing and implementing solutions in these environments.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Data Lake Design: Experience with designing and implementing data lakes as part of data platforms in virtualized and cloud-based environments, including both hosted and on-premise solutions. • Cloud Solution Management: Experience in managing and implementing solutions in cloud-based environments, including designing and implementing solutions that deliver significant and lasting business improvements for clients. • Virtualization Expertise: Experience with virtualization technologies, including designing and implementing solutions in these environments to support data platform implementation.
